Also known as: Tor exit, exit node

Definition

An exit relay is the last Tor node before traffic reaches the public internet. The destination site sees the exit’s IP, not yours — so exits are sensitive and often restricted.

Real-World Example

A website logging a Tor exit IP instead of a home address when someone visits through the Tor Browser.
