Definition

SQL injection is a vulnerability where untrusted input is interpreted as part of a database query, allowing attackers to read or modify data unexpectedly.

Real-World Example

A login form that builds SELECT * FROM users WHERE name = ' + input + ' can be abused with input that alters the query logic.
