Bandwidth throttling intentionally slows a connection or traffic type, often by an ISP, network admin, or application, to manage congestion or enforce plans.
Real-World Example
An ISP may throttle video streaming speeds after you exceed a monthly data cap so other customers share capacity more evenly.
